had a chance to get out with dave cates today on barbee, water is way up, so please be carefull if you get out, we did end up seeing 2 very lazy follows on cranks and not a sniff on the suckers water temps were at 42 to 41 so you still got time to get out before we have ice. bill

it wont be long roy, and the fish are still moving. we seen those fish very shallow. with the water up about 2 feet, it gave them some more moving room

Has anyone been out to Barbee this week. I wanted to come over thursday this week to fish but didn't know if the canal where you launch in Kuhn is frozen up like it was last wednesday. Any input is much appreciated!

well i have not been there but i can say this there is no ice, you shouldnt have a problem. and i seen a boat comming out of there on the way home so im sure its fishable
